Facebook Phone Numbers Saved

You probably have never visited the "contacts" tab of the edit friends section, their you will find the phone numbers of your friends that have either been added by your friends themselves or they have synced their phone contacts with the social network. This has been made to our attention due to a Fox News story about Facebook posting confidential phone numbers. Facebook has recently posted a response to the issue saying:



"Rumors claiming that your phone contacts are visible to everyone on Facebook are false. Our Contacts list, formerly called Phonebook, has existed for a long time." -[roughly a year ago.]
